Training for Civil Society and Media Representatives Held in Gaziantep
The sixth of the training sessions prepared for NGO and Media representatives within the scope of the goal of the Strengthening Civilian Oversight of Internal Security Sector (Phase III) Project titled ‘Personal and Institutional Capacity Building’ was held in Gaziantep. 6O participants including the representatives of Smuggling, Intelligence, Operations, and Information Gathering (KİHBİ),United Nations Development Program, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality City Council, Gaziantep Bar Association, Şehitkamil Municipality City Council and NGO’s attended the sixth training.
In pursuit of the opening remarks, module training sessions started. Experts presented the modules prepared under the Project with a view to improving civilian oversight in Turkey to participants. The module training sessions continued the second day of the training. The participants completing the training were awarded certificates.
