Ninth Human-Oriented Security and Civil/Democratic Oversight Training Held in Ankara
The ninth of the Human-Oriented Security and Civil/Democratic Oversight Trainings – prepared for NGOs and media representatives within the scope of the project’s “Individual and Institutional Capacity Building” objective- was held in Ankara between 5-6 November 2021. UNDP Project team, Ministry of Interior Civil Society Relations General Directorate, Ankara Governorship Civil Society Relations Directorate, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality City Council members, Ankara Bar Association representatives, Red Crescent Ankara Branch representatives, Green Crescent Ankara Branch representatives, selected NGOs and media representatives are attended the training.
In pursuit of the opening remarks, module training sessions started. Experts presented the modules prepared under the Project with a view to improving civilian oversight in Turkey to participants. The module training sessions continued the second day of the training. The participants completing the training were awarded certificates.
